Bio
Having enjoyed the benefits of massage, yoga, and meditation for many years I decided to become a massage therapist because a massage is the best gift I can give someone. .
During 17 years working as a nurse I frequently found myself giving massages to patients, co-workers, friends, and family and found it to be the most healing and nourishing treatment that I could offer. My Massage Therapy training and Yoga Teacher Training were done at Kripalu Center. My background also includes a BA in Biology from Ohio Wesleyan University and AD in Nursing from University of Maine. I have boundless interest in learning about the human body and exploring ways of helping people heal so my continuing education is plentiful. I'm currently studying Structural Integration (Rolfing) with Tom Myers. I’ve also studied the following...
